Hello, and welcome to the site.

As with any conservation forum, in order for it to carry any weight with the authorities, it needs to have a hefty membership count. Take the new Angling Trust, it is estimated that the Trust will end up with 4.000.000. members, which is considerably more then any individual political parties membership. And it would therefore be political suicide if the government was to ignore the Anglers Trust. We to are politically natural.

This of course would be the ideal situation to be in. But every journey starts with the first step, and this forum has only just started down that long road.

And that is why it is so important that every visitors to the site joins as a member. Its free, and can only assist the site when negotiating with the authorities for our hobby and sport.

Any clubs or organizations are more then welcome to join the site, and we would be more then happy to put reciprocal links on this forum to any other conservation groups.

This site caters for all disciplines in angling. There is no devisions between us, after all we are all anglers.

Hi seajunky,

Nice introduction, well said.

It seems to me that those of us that enjoy our fishing generally go placidly about our business and just enjoy it. The thing is big brother is out to let us down and leave us high and dry.

Our fishing needs protection and policing not raping by commercial anglers and criminals.

Please take a few minutes to contribute to this site and to the others that fight day after day to look after our interests.

It is too late when the fish are gone and we are left to find another sport!!

Hi

I would like to thank all who have signed up for the site. I know its not been set up for long, but I was hoping that we would have a few more members by now. So please speak to your mates and fishing Buddy's and try to boost the membership. We don,t carry much negotiation weight with 26 members.
